human b
funny thing is,
i always feel that i am against some theories from some parties that particularly study human behaviour, in this humble sector.
i conclude this after i encountered a few statements from them, regarding us, the people.
here are some of them.
statement 1 : you don't buy a house, your life is not perfect/happy. you said you're happy, you're actually not.
to them, owning a house and a car is essential.
of course it is, someway somehow.
but not owning a house doesn't dictate a person's happiness.
that's just weird.
i experienced this when i was instructed to join this group for new workers.
that was years ago.
and that time, i didn't own a house yet.
so they started to talk about having families, house, car, and other materials (as assets).
and then i said, "i don't have a house yet."
then i continued, "i don't have any problem, i am happy."
and the moderator/counselor looked at me like i'm doing a high crime. HAHA
i think in their book, making a statement saying you're happy, means you're not happy.
but i was seriously happy when i make that statement.
i just contented with my life.
i am still confuse until now with their theories of happiness by owning materials (or as they call it; assets)
statement 2 : only extroverts can become a leader
wheyyy what??
i encountered many outspoken and talkative people in my life..
and some of them are good at talking, no good at working (hihi) - but not all yah.
i'm just saying that you need to be careful with people that are good with words.
that's all.
it's just because, talkative people use most of their time to talk,
so they sacrifice their time to work.
but since they're good at talking, people think they're good at doing their work.
again, this is just my personal opinion based on my experience and my friends' experiences. lolx
so for me,
it's not necessarily only extroverts can become a leader.
introverts can too.
may be better.
less talking, more working. and more ideas coming.
but this human behaviour people, they want extrovert leaders.
they told us, if they're picking bosses,
they will conduct a test, and see the results.
they'll be picking extroverts from it.
come on, this is 2020.
everyone's introvert in their own way (with technologies and such haha)
hmm *still thinking*
statement 3 : be honest with your time at the office.
this one, i partly agree.
of course i agree on 'being honest' one. haha
what i don't is on how rigid it can be.
for a say, we've being asked a question whether we use the free time in the office, after we finish all of our work, to do personal things.
like do online shopping, check on online banking, or did anyone here sleep on free time?? haha JK. sleeping is exclude ya.
and the answer on their format is;
you can only do job-related stuff on your free time.
e.g: tidying ur workstation, reading newspaper. yeah that's it.
of course i don't agree because i myself do read books and surf the internet (on my laptop) after finishing my work.
some people even go here and there to talk to each other and whatsnot.
i am not a robot and not going to put much stress-related-work on my head, after my work is done.
but may be yeah, that's just me :P
so there you go.
things that make me think,
that i couldn't get along with the human behaviour people and their prefect theories.. lolx.
it's true, some of the theories can be used.
but then again, we're just mere humans.
some of our theories are good for us, but might not for others.
if you ever be in the HR dept, try to understand people more.
since you're dealing with people.
this is just a general statement. of course.
byeee! :)
